116. PLIVAČKI MARATON ŠILO – CRIKVENICA 2026

Kolovoz je idealno vrijeme za sudjelovanje u jednom od najstarijih plivačkih maratona u Hrvatskoj.

Plivački maraton Šilo-Crikvenica tradicionalno se održava 15. kolovoza, ...na blagdan Velike Gospe, zaštitnice Crikvenice – riječ je o tradiciji dugoj više od stoljeća. Sudionici plivaju zacrtanom dionicom dugom 3500 metara, od Šila do Crikvenice. Maraton svake godine privlači vrhunske plivače na otvorenim vodama iz Hrvatske i inozemstva, a u natjecanju mogu sudjelovati i rekreativci te zaljubljenici u plivanje.

The oldest swimming marathon on the Adriatic has been held since way back in 1910. The Šilo-Crikvenica Swimming Marathon traditionally takes place on 15 of August, the Feast of the Assumption of Mary, the patroness of Crikvenica. The race follows an established route from Šilo to Crikvenica, covering a distance of 3,500 meters.

Each year, the marathon attracts top swimmers from Croatia and abroad, but it is open to all swimming enthusiasts. Don’t miss being part of the spectacular event, either as a participant or to support the competitors! Enjoy a beautiful summer afternoon with the spectacle of the blue sea full of swimmers and boats, and join the numerous spectators who cheer on the participants in Crikvenica and Šilo.
