116. PLIVAČKI MARATON ŠILO – CRIKVENICA 2026

Avgust je idealen čas za udeležbo na enem izmed najstarejših plavalnih maratonov na Hrvaškem.

Plavalni maraton Šilo-Crikvenica tradicionalno poteka 15. avgusta, na praznikMarijinega vnebovzetja, zavetnice Crikvenice, in tako že več kot sto let. Udeleženci plavajo na določeni progi od Šila proti Crikvenici, dolgi 3500 m. Na maratonu vsako leto sodelujejo najboljši plavalci daljinskega plavanja iz Hrvaške in tujine, tekmujejo pa lahko tudi vsi rekreativci, ljubitelji plavanja.

The oldest swimming marathon on the Adriatic has been held since way back in 1910. The Šilo-Crikvenica Swimming Marathon traditionally takes place on 15 of August, the Feast of the Assumption of Mary, the patroness of Crikvenica. The race follows an established route from Šilo to Crikvenica, covering a distance of 3,500 meters.

Each year, the marathon attracts top swimmers from Croatia and abroad, but it is open to all swimming enthusiasts. Don’t miss being part of the spectacular event, either as a participant or to support the competitors! Enjoy a beautiful summer afternoon with the spectacle of the blue sea full of swimmers and boats, and join the numerous spectators who cheer on the participants in Crikvenica and Šilo.
