UCI Istria Gran Fondo 2026.

Mark your calendar for April 11, 2026, and join the twelfth edition of the international cycling marathon Istria Gran Fondo in Umag. Officially recognized by the Union Cycliste Internationale (UCI) since 2023, this event is part of the global UCI Gran Fondo Series – a race series held across five continents, culminating in the World Championship in Niseko, Japan, from August 26 to 30, 2026.

This year, participants can choose between two routes: Gran Fondo, stretching 105 km for those seeking a greater challenge, and Medio Fondo, covering 80 km, ideal for cyclists looking for a shorter but equally thrilling ride. Both routes pass through the picturesque northwestern and central parts of the Istrian peninsula, offering riders a demanding course with four refreshment stations, starting and finishing near the Stella Maris Resort, next to Umag’s ATP stadium named after Goran Ivanišević.

The rich accompanying program in 2026 includes exciting brands in the Expo zone, children’s activities, a diverse gourmet offer, and most importantly – a fantastic atmosphere!

Zabilježite datum 11. travnja 2026. i pridružite se dvanaestom izdanju međunarodnog biciklističkog maratona Istria Gran Fondo u Umagu. Ova manifestacija, službeno priznata od strane Svjetske biciklističke organizacije (UCI) od 2023. godine, dio je globalne UCI Gran Fondo Series – serije natjecanja koja se održavaju na pet kontinenata i kulminiraju Svjetskim prvenstvom u Niseku, Japan, od 26. do 30. kolovoza 2026.

I ove godine natjecatelji mogu odabrati između dvije staze: Gran Fondo, koja se proteže na 105 km za one koji žele veći izazov, i Medio Fondo, koja iznosi 80 km i pogodna je za bicikliste koji traže kraću, ali jednako uzbudljivu rutu. Obje trase prolaze slikovitim sjeverozapadnim i središnjim dijelovima istarskog poluotoka, nudeći vozačima izazovnu vožnju uz četiri okrijepne postaje, s početkom i završetkom pokraj Stella Maris Resorta, uz umaški ATP stadion Gorana Ivaniševića.

Bogat popratni program 2026. godine uključuje zanimljive brendove u Expo zoni, dječje aktivnosti, raznovrsnu gourmet ponudu i, što je najvažnije, sjajnu atmosferu!

Riconosciuta ufficialmente dall’Unione Ciclistica Internazionale (UCI) dal 2023, questa manifestazione fa parte della serie globale UCI Gran Fondo – un circuito di gare che si svolge in cinque continenti e culmina con il Campionato Mondiale a Niseko, in Giappone, dal 26 al 30 agosto 2026.

Anche quest’anno i partecipanti potranno scegliere tra due percorsi: Gran Fondo, lungo 105 km per chi cerca una sfida più impegnativa, e Medio Fondo, di 80 km, ideale per chi preferisce una distanza più breve ma altrettanto emozionante. Entrambi i percorsi attraversano i pittoreschi paesaggi del nord-ovest e del centro dell’Istria, offrendo una pedalata impegnativa con quattro punti di ristoro, con partenza e arrivo presso lo Stella Maris Resort, accanto allo stadio ATP di Umago dedicato a Goran Ivanišević.

Diese Veranstaltung ist seit 2023 offiziell von der Union Cycliste Internationale (UCI) anerkannt und Teil der globalen UCI Gran Fondo Series – einer Rennserie auf fünf Kontinenten, die mit der Weltmeisterschaft in Niseko, Japan, vom 26. bis 30. August 2026 ihren Höhepunkt findet.

Auch dieses Jahr können die Teilnehmer zwischen zwei Strecken wählen: Gran Fondo mit 105 km für alle, die eine größere Herausforderung suchen, und Medio Fondo mit 80 km, ideal für Radfahrer, die eine kürzere, aber ebenso spannende Route bevorzugen. Beide Strecken führen durch die malerischen nordwestlichen und zentralen Teile der istrischen Halbinsel und bieten eine anspruchsvolle Fahrt mit vier Verpflegungsstationen, Start und Ziel befinden sich beim Stella Maris Resort neben dem ATP-Stadion von Goran Ivanišević in Umag.
