UCI Istria Gran Fondo 2027.

Mark your calendar for April 3, 2027, and join the thirteenth edition of the international Istria Gran Fondo in Umag. Officially recognized by the Union Cycliste Internationale (UCI) since 2023, this popular cycling event is part of the global UCI Gran Fondo serije, a series of races held across five continents and culminating in the UCI Gran Fondo Series World Championship in Haute-Savoie Mont-Blanc, France, from August 24 to September 5, 2027.

Participants can choose between two routes: Gran Fondo – 105 km and Medio Fondo – 80 km. The Gran Fondo route offers an exciting challenge for cyclists, taking them through the scenic landscapes of northwestern and central Istria. Both routes feature beautiful Istrian scenery and include four refreshment stations along the way. The race starts and finishes at Stella Maris Resort, next to the Goran Ivanišević ATP stadium in Umag. As one of the stops in the UCI Gran Fondo Series, the results achieved in the main race count towards the overall ranking of cyclists competing for a place at the World Championship. The best 25% of riders in each age group participating in the Istria Gran Fondo will have the opportunity to qualify for the world championship in France.

Zabilježite 3. travanj 2027 u svom kalendaru i pridružite se trinaestom izdanju međunarodne biciklističke utrke  Istria Gran Fondo u Umagu.Ovaj popularni događaj, koji Međunarodna biciklistička unija (UCI) službeno priznaje od 2023. godine, dio je serije UCI Gran Fondo – niza utrka koje se održavaju na pet kontinenata i kulminiraju Svjetskim prvenstvom UCI Gran Fondo serijekoje će se 2027. godine (od 24. kolovoza do 5. rujna) održati u francuskoj regiji Haute-Savoie Mont-Blanc.

Sudionici mogu birati između dvije staze: Gran Fondo (105 km) i Medio Fondo (80 km).Staza Gran Fondo nudi uzbudljiv izazov za bicikliste, vodeći ih kroz slikovite krajolike sjeverozapadne i središnje Istre. Obje staze pružaju prekrasne istarske vizure. Utrka započinje i završava u odmaralištu Stella Maris, pokraj stadiona Goran Ivanišević (ATP) u Umagu. Kao službeni događaj u sklopu serije UCI Gran Fondo, rezultati se boduju za kvalifikacije na Svjetsko prvenstvo. Najboljih 25 % biciklista u svakoj dobnoj skupini na utrci Istria Gran Fondo izborit će nastup na Svjetskom prvenstvu u Francuskoj.
