UCI Istria Gran Fondo 2027.

Mark your calendar for April 3, 2027, and join the thirteenth edition of the international Istria Gran Fondo in Umag. Officially recognized by the Union Cycliste Internationale (UCI) since 2023, this popular cycling event is part of the global UCI Gran Fondo Series, a series of races held across five continents and culminating in the UCI Gran Fondo Series World Championship in Haute-Savoie Mont-Blanc, France, from August 24 to September 5, 2027.

Participants can choose between two routes: Gran Fondo – 105 km and Medio Fondo – 80 km. The Gran Fondo route offers an exciting challenge for cyclists, taking them through the scenic landscapes of northwestern and central Istria. Both routes feature beautiful Istrian scenery and include four refreshment stations along the way. The race starts and finishes at Stella Maris Resort, next to the Goran Ivanišević ATP stadium in Umag. As one of the stops in the UCI Gran Fondo Series, the results achieved in the main race count towards the overall ranking of cyclists competing for a place at the World Championship. The best 25% of riders in each age group participating in the Istria Gran Fondo will have the opportunity to qualify for the world championship in France.

Označite si 3. april 2027 v koledarju in se pridružite trinajsti izvedbi mednarodne kolesarske dirke  Istria Gran Fondo v Umagu. Ta priljubljeni dogodek, ki ga od leta 2023 uradno priznava Mednarodna kolesarska zveza (UCI), je del svetovne serije UCI Gran Fondo Series – niza dirk, ki potekajo na petih celinah in se zaključijo s svetovnim prvenstvom UCI Gran Fondo Series, ki bo leta 2027 potekal v regiji Haute-Savoie Mont-Blanc v Franciji (od 24. avgusta do 5. septembra 2027).

Udeleženci lahko izbirajo med dvema trasama: Gran Fondo (105 km) in Medio Fondo (80 km). Trasa Gran Fondo predstavlja razburljiv izziv za kolesarje, saj jih vodi skozi slikovite pokrajine severozahodne in osrednje Istre. Obe trasi ponujata čudovite istrske razglede. Dirka se začne in konča v letovišču Stella Maris, ob stadionu Gorana Ivaniševića (ATP) v Umagu. Ker gre za eno od uradnih dirk serije UCI Gran Fondo Series, rezultati štejejo za nastop na svetovnem prvenstvu. Najboljših 25 % kolesarjev v vsaki starostni skupini na dirki Istria Gran Fondo se bo lahko uvrstilo na svetovno prvenstvo v Franciji.

Bogast spremljevalni program bo obsegal Expo sejem, program za otroke, bogato kulinarično ponudbo in – kar je najpomembneje – fantastično vzdušje!
